Mohd Farid Mohd Sharif: Book Review Editor

Mohd Farid bin Mohd Sharif is a young academician and writer in the Islamic field, known for his scholarly work in promoting analysis and assessment of Islamic texts and in highlighting the diverse nature of modern Muslims. Mohd Farid holds a PhD in Islamic Studies from the University of Edinburgh and has been trained in traditional Islamic scholarship, holding BA and MA of Islamic Studies from the Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. He is currently the Senior Lecturer of Islamic Studies at the School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Besides articles in academic journals, he has published with USM Press, UM Press, Institut Terjemahan Negara Malaysia (ITNM) and others.
