This is partly because migration in the region has become ever more dynamic, as Malaysia and Thailand have established themselves as major countries of destination alongside Singapore while Indonesia, Myanmar, and the Philippines are among the world\u2019s most important countries of origin. <em>The Migration in Southeast Asia: IMISCOE Regional Reader<\/em>, edited by Sriprapha Petcharamesree and Mark P. Capaldi, is therefore a very welcome new resource. It brings together a group of scholars with extensive experience researching migration in the region.
