She has been a lawyer in China since 1993 and is currently a lawyer in Beijing Great Wall Law Firm. She received a bachelor degree in law in 1987 and a master degree in law in 1991. Her degree of PhD in sexuality, health and culture was awarded by the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2011.
